There are a limited number of companies who supply the movies for the entire DVD rental industry including Blockbuster and Red Box. As a DVDNow Distributor you will have access to these companies at industry pricing to pre-order your new releases However, as the owner of the terminal you are free to purchase movies from any source. New Release DVD�s will be available on the Friday for purchase, prior to a Tuesday when they can be officially rented.
The majority of problems can be resolved over the phone with our in house tech department. We will dispatch a company certified technician to your location for service. Warranty repairs will be made at no cost to you during the warranty period. An extended warranty or service agreement may be purchased separately.
There are a number of web sites that list box office sales. As well, any DVD distributor can recommend the hot new releases.
There is no foreseeable end to the use of DVD technology. We are now just moving into the 2nd phase of DVD�s with the introduction of HD DVD and Blueray discs (both of these new formats have many times the capacity of a current DVD and offer high definition content). DVD�s will remain the most affordable and convenient way to get high-quality content for years to come. DVDNow terminals are already capable of renting both of these new formats and the terminal operator may charge a premium for high definition movies.
There is currently no online reservation system. Our data indicates that most customers do not presently book movies using online services. If online reservation services gain in popularity we will introduce one.

WHAT INCREMENTS? Yes, you set the price for movies. You can price movies differently for new releases or by the day of the week (or both). A premium can also be charged for high definition DVD’s or video games
Most distributors buy back previously viewed DVD’s at a set price. Your terminal will also have the ability to sell new or previously viewed movies straight to consumers. Convenience or grocery stores may purchase the used DVD’s and offer them for sale within their store. You decide on what works best for you.

IF SO, WHAT KIND, AND AT WHAT COST? The terminal going to need a DSL or Cable connection at an approximate cost of $50 per month. Some locations may let you share their existing Internet connection.
Industry standard is to give the location owner 10-20% of net revenue.

Once your terminals are in operation for 120 days we will finance up to 50% of any reorders up to the original quantity of kiosks that were purchased in the initial order. (i.e. start with 5 and we will finance 50% of an additional 5 more on a reorder).
ARE PARTS AND LABOR INCLUDED? 1 year parts and 1 year labor.
Our machines are warranted for one year. Extended warranty or service agreement may be separately purchased. Free phone and chat-line support is offered for as long as you own the machine.
Yes, extended warranties are available for an additional cost.
Yes, our system provides inventory control. You can run a variety of reports that show what titles and types of titles are most popular. Additionally, you can import that data into other data management systems such as Excel or Quicken. Our system if fully automated even to the point of tracking late returns and charging the customer a late fee! This means potentially hundreds of dollars a month in automatic late fees. If a movie is not returned it is simply sold to that customer at a profit—automatically!
